Robert Griffin III (born February 12, 1990), nicknamed RG3, is an American football quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Baylor, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 2011 as the school's first ever Heisman winner. He was drafted by the Washington Redskins second overall in the 2012 NFL Draft.

RG3 has been a full-time starter for the Redskins and Ravens since 2012, and has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times. He has won numerous awards, including the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award in 2012, the NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award in 2015, and the NFL Offensive Player of the Year Award in 2016. He is also the first quarterback in NFL history to throw for over 4,000 yards in his rookie season.

Off the field, RG3 is an active philanthropist and has established the Robert Griffin III Family Foundation, which focuses on helping underprivileged youth. He is also an avid supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project and has done numerous charitable events for the organization.
