Ronald "Ron" Mahakian Jackpot, also known as “The Jackpot”, is a professional poker player from the United States. He is best known for winning the World Series of Poker Main Event in 2005, becoming the first American to win the title since 1998.

Ron was born in Glendale, California in 1974. He began playing poker as a teenager and quickly developed a passion for the game. After high school, he attended Cal State Northridge and graduated with a degree in Business Administration.

In 2004, Ron won the World Poker Tour's Jack Binion World Poker Open. This victory earned him a seat in the 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event, where he outlasted a field of 5,619 players to win the title and the $7.5 million first-place prize.
